I'm not really sure what to do with this, but I was so interested by the idea of this style of internet (or social media i guess if you can call this a social media) without a very rigid format to follow. Most platforms are very strict about formatting, and don't allow much control on the user end as far as how their content looks within the page. This makes sense, because most users don't want to have to build up a whole page by themselves, and having simpler and more easily accessable creative tools makes platforms like reddit, twitter, etc. more popular. Tumblr is sort of an exception, but it's not super popular in the mainstream internet, and still has a fairly normal template even if there is an html editor available. It doesn't require it, so many don't mess with it. Anyways I've always thought the idea of these types of completely user-generated sites was super cool, and it's much more interesting when you know everything that you are looking at was a concious decision of whoever created the site. I doubt I'll use this consistently, but it just seems like a really fun thing to have.
